Reasons to live in Twigworth
Twigworth is a small village to the North of Gloucester located within Tewkesbury Borough and a great place to live.
The village has expanded massively since 2020 due to development by Bloor Homes, Linden Homes and Bovis Homes at Twigworth Green.
Twigworth Green Development

Located on the A38 which runs between Gloucester and Tewkesbury, Twigworth retains a rural feel despite being only 1 mile from the A40 Gloucester Northern Circular, 2 ½ miles from Gloucester City Centre and less than 8 miles or 15 minutes by car to Tewkesbury.
Traditionally the village flanked the A38, with a huge variety of house types from all eras; old and new. Twigworth Green consists of 725 modern homes, all built since 2020 including both private and affordable housing. The new roundabout which was added as part of the new development gives access to a small community centre incorporating a Cooperative food store, Jane Pantry Bakery, wine merchant and hairdressers. There is further development by Cotswold Oak on the junction of the A38 and Down Hatherley Road.
Several infill sites have also been built over the years with small clusters of executive and eco-houses. Park Home Life have a large complex of Park Homes and there are various caravan and motorhome showrooms nearby.
So there is a huge variety of house types to suit all budgets and ages.

We have used Michael Tuck for both Lettings and Sales, and they have always been professional and efficient. In particular, Miles Pledger, now in the Tewkesbury Office was instrumental in getting our recent, very difficult sale over the line. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
I’ve used Michael Tuck in Gloucester for both purchase and selling in the last three years. The service was always professional, Miles Pledger, now in the Tewkesbury Office especially handled both sales really well.
