Two familiar names in Abbeymead are joining forces as Michael Tuck Estate & Letting Agents announces its support for Abbeymead Rovers FC – with both organisations celebrating 30 years in the community.
Michael Tuck opened its Abbeymead office in 1997 and has been helping people buy, sell, let and rent homes in Abbeymead and the surrounding areas ever since.
1997 was also the year Abbeymead Rovers FC was established.
Three decades later, the football club has grown to become an important part of the local community, providing opportunities for players of different ages to enjoy grassroots football.
With both organisations approaching their 30th anniversaries in Abbeymead, Michael Tuck is pleased to be supporting the club and its continued development.
Supporting grassroots football in Abbeymead
As part of the partnership, the Michael Tuck name will feature on the back of the club’s new senior training tops.
But we want the relationship to extend beyond putting our name on a shirt.
Our Abbeymead office will also help promote the club locally, including fixtures, results, opportunities for new players and other club activities.
With our office occupying a prominent position within the local community, we hope we can introduce even more people to Abbeymead Rovers and encourage local families to get involved.
30 years at the heart of Abbeymead
For Michael Tuck, the partnership has particular significance because of our shared history.
Over the last 30 years, Abbeymead has changed considerably. Thousands of people have made the area their home, local schools and businesses have developed and a strong community has grown alongside them.
During that time, our Abbeymead team has helped generations of local homeowners, buyers, landlords and tenants with their property moves.
At the same time, Abbeymead Rovers has been bringing local people together through football.
While we operate in very different fields, both organisations have something important in common: we’ve grown alongside the Abbeymead community.
Looking ahead to 2027
With the two organisations celebrating their 30th anniversaries, we’re looking forward to working more closely with Abbeymead Rovers throughout the anniversary year.
We’ll be sharing club news and activities and looking for other ways in which Michael Tuck can support grassroots football and the wider Abbeymead community.
After 30 years, we’re proud to continue calling Abbeymead home – and pleased to be supporting another organisation that has been part of the community for just as long.
