We recommend weekly inspections, but will meet your specific requirements and provide a written report including photographs as a documented record of visits.
What does an Empty Property Inspection include?
The service includes:
- Visual internal check of accessible rooms for leaks, damp, damage and signs of intrusion.
- Checks that external doors and windows are secure.
- Ground-level external checks for obvious storm damage or other problems.
- Checks of heating settings and temperature where agreed.
- Removal of post from view and mail forwarding if required.
- A dated report with photographs, observations and recommended action.
- Meter readings if required.
- Prompt telephone contact if an urgent problem is discovered.
How much does an Empty Property Inspection cost?
Our fees are £60 including VAT for regular scheduled visits or £72 including VAT for a one-off inspection within a 5 mile radius of your local Michael Tuck Estate and Letting Agents office.
- Regular scheduled inspection, including written report and photographs – £60 including VAT per visit.
- One-off inspection, including written report and photographs – £72 including VAT.
- Inspections beyond a five mile radius of a Michael Tuck office – Price available upon request.
Please note that we are unable to inspect lofts and would recommend that you carefully check the policy wording of your building insurance to confirm their acceptable frequency of visits.
How it works
